Program Brochure

Dear Fellow Missioner,

Thank you for joining this exciting mission trip to

the Timor Leste.

We are thrilled to have you on board and can't wait

to see the impact we’ll make together.

You will receive an invitation to join our Mission
Whatsapp group
 and our Mission Basecamp App
as soon as we receive your mission fee.

These tools will serve as our primary

communication channels for information and

clarifications about the mission trip.

Please keep the messages focused on

mission-related topics only to ensure everyone

stays updated and organized.

Below is some information and points of administration for your action. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

The mission fee of S$700 per missionary, which covers:

  1. Daily coach transportation and airport transfers.

  2. The pilgrimage to the shrine of Our Lord, Cristo Rei.

  3. Hotel accommodation with breakfast for 8 days and 7 nights in Dili.

  4. Incidentals for activities at the various charities.

  5. Any surplus will be used to support the cause.

After making the payment, kindly send me a screenshot for confirmation.

Flight Details

Airfare is not included.

We are please to share that we have secured a good discounted fare with Aero Dili for a direct 4-hour flight between Singapore and Dili at a decent timing.

Other airlines are significantly much more expensive and require stopovers, making travel 2–3 times longer and overnight.

If our number of missioners is sufficient, Aero Dili has offered a return airfare of USD482 with 25 kg check-in baggage which serves us well in bringing donations over.

Aero Dili currently operates only one flight per week (on Sundays) for August.

Please do not book your own flights as you will be charged a higher rate. To enjoy the discounted rate, we will have to book as a group. You will be advised in due course when to make payment.

Thank you for your patience, trust, and generosity in journeying with us on this mission.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance (about S$20) is also not included. You may choose your preferred plan and vendor.

Pilgrimage

At the end of the mission, we will go on our pilgrimage to the iconic Cristo Rei
of Dili,
one of the most beloved Catholic landmarks in Timor-Leste.

Standing 27 metres high on a hill overlooking the sea, Christ the King
stretches His arms over the nation as if embracing its people.

To reach the summit, pilgrims climb over 500 steps, passing the Stations of
the Cross along the way. As we ascend together in prayer, we will reflect on
Christ’s Passion and offer our mission, the people we have served, and our
own lives to God.

At the summit, we will:

  • Offer thanksgiving prayers for the success of our mission.

  • Present sealed petitions to Our Lord, petitioning Him for healing,
reconciliation, financial difficulties, and other needs.

  • Pray for the people of Timor Leste and our loved ones back home.
