Pilgrimage
On the 4th day of the mission, we will check out of our hotel in Fang after
breakfast for our pilgrimage to the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Chiang Mai,
one of the most beautiful and spiritually rich churches in North Thailand.
Built in the mid-20th century through the collaboration of Pastor G. Merabell
nd a local monk, the Cathedral symbolizes Christian unity and hope.
Its European-inspired architecture, with a dome crowned by a cross,
stained-glass windows, and intricate carvings—especially the main wooden
door—reflect a deep reverence for the sacred.
During the pilgrimage, we will:
-
Offer thanksgiving prayers for the success of our mission.
-
Present sealed petitions to Our Blessed Mother, seeking her
intercession for healing, reconciliation, financial difficulties, and other needs.
-
Pray for the people of Fang and our loved ones back home.

Flights
Airfare is not included.
Please book your flights as soon as possible to enjoy lower fares and reserve at least 15 kg of baggage allowance to help transport donations.
Unless you wish to shop in Chiang Mai and have lots of things to bring back, I would recommend that you only select 20 kg check-in baggage from SG to Hanoi and use a collapsible luggage to help transport the donations.
When it's empty, you can fold your collapsible luggage into your cabin luggage and save some cost there.
Collapsible Travel Bag
You can purchase one of these Expandable Luggage from any e-commerce
platform. They cost around S$20 and can be folded into your carry-on luggage
after the Mission.
Please avoid checking in boxes as you would be more likely to be stopped by
customs and taxed.
You can also purchase these cheap Vacuum Packs to save space in your
luggage and they are reusable for a few times.
Feel free to book your flight on any airline of your choice but please match the following timings.
Once booked, please send me your flight details directly for
coordination.
