Rakha Arr Man Education Center
In March 2019, a builder was contracted to complete the following works for TCDI’s Rakha Arr Man Education Center in Minbya, Rakhine State, Myanmar.
• New boys’ hostel
• Completing existing girls’ hostel up to building code
• Equip hostels with beds and wardrobes.
Prior to this, the girls’ hostel was unsafe to live in while the boys’ hostel was a shack.
With the new hostels, which also act as tuition centres, the Education Center is able to accommodate more students while the children can feel proud of attending a proper education facility in a more conducive environment for learning.
1) Academic course for 10th Standard students (Grade 11)
2) Personal Development course for both 10th standard students and 10th standard passed students.
3) Computer and internet using Course for both 10th Standard students and 10th standard passed students.
